  OVER-PRICED SERVICING & SECOND HAND VEHICLES, POOR SALES SERVICE
  
  We received very professional service when booking a basic service for our 2006 diesel Golf recently, but were dismayed by the almost $600 cost and lack of attention to items we specifically asked JMC Hobart to address. Definitely cheaper, more thorough VW mechanics available if you care to look.
  
  Following on from this, we were also shopping for another second-hand vehicle and took one of JMC's second-hand Tiguans for a test-drive. Considering a brand-new Tiguan is about to be introduced in September, that there are excellent deals on new current model Tiguans currently available, and given that the Tiguan we were testing was 4 years old - we were confident of being able to negotiate a reasonable purchase price. Unfortunately neither of the senior salesmen we met seemed particularly interested in us as customers, and we were left with a junior salesman before being told they could only knock a few hundred dollars off their lofty asking price.
  
  Overall we were very unimpressed with the poor sales service, exorbitant servicing costs, and inflated second-hand vehicle prices. We would not recommend JMC Hobart and won't be servicing our vehicles there in the future.
